. It was founded in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, professor of canon regulation at Ingolstadt and former Jesuit. Weishaupt wanted to exchange Christianity which has a religion of rationale, along with the members of his society known as by themselves “Perfectibilists.” The society was very carefully structured and divided into three primary lessons.
